Job Title: Site Engineer (Monitoring Department)
Location: Near Banbury
Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 + car allowance and accommodation if staying away
Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering consultancy on a major infrastructure scheme near Banbury. This long-term project forms part of one of the UK’s most significant transport developments and includes complex heavy civils works such as earthworks, structures, highways and major concrete elements.
This role would suit a Site Engineer or Engineering Surveyor seeking long-term security, varied technical work and the chance to contribute to a nationally important programme.
The Role
- Support installation and engineering activities across the monitoring section of the project
- Carry out monitoring duties across live work areas
- Undertake digital precise surveys to support project delivery
- Assist with the installation of survey control
- Complete occasional setting out and as-built surveys when required
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
- At least 2 years of UK heavy civils experience
- Competent with modern surveying equipment
- Adaptable, proactive and keen to develop further technical skills
Package
- Salary of £45,000 – £52,000 depending on experience
