Chance to join an established Land Surveying team based near Brentwood (you will need to be a driver as the office is on the outskirts with poor public transport links).

As a CAD Technician you will use the latest software to produce a wide variety of 2D & 3D CAD drawings and models from point cloud.

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills and will have used CAD previously to produce work to a high quality by a given deadline. An interest in the surveying and engineering industry would be preferrable but not essential as full training and industry knowledge will be provided.

The position comes with continuous training and development and you will benefit from opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive small CAD team with experienced Senior CAD Technicians who will elevate your learning to the next level.

Duties:

• Drawing measured building surveys from Point Cloud data
• Produce floor plan, elevation, point cloud and cross section drawings
• Sheeting and framing of the job ready to be issued
• Updating and amending existing surveys at the client’s request
• Checking volume calculations

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
