We are Looking for a candidate that is based in the Reading/ Hampshire/ West London area who is wanting an opportunity to work for large Land and Utility Surveying practice.

The client is a national surveying practice with over 100 Surveyors nationally who currently don’t have an office in this area (the closest is North East London) They will look to build up this area in time and potentially have another office here in the future, so it’s a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career.

As a Senior Land and Measured Building Surveyor you will supervise and mentor the surveying team and work with and deputise for the Survey Manager with client quotations, leading team briefings and individual job briefings.

You will be expected to take the lead on complex and large-scale topographical surveys and full measured building surveys with floor plans, elevations and sections using a combination of traditional methods and 3D scanners to a high standard.

You will conduct your own processing which will break the working week up well as you will have a good balance of site and home working.

Speaking of balance- the company is a large surveying practice with many local office’s nationwide so the work is allocated by location so there is very little staying away compared to other practices

The Southern teams are super friendly with some really interesting projects coming up. The Directors believe in the importance of professional accreditation and On-going career development and training- so a training a development plan will be put forward for you to work to a chartership qualification. The client will also pay overtime for hours worked over your contracted hours (including travel time) and the Vehicle has personal use.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Package includes Company Van, Fuel Card, Laptop and Phone.
