An exciting opportunity to work for a leading consultancy practice that has a team of over 80 Ecologists working on a variety of complex and rewarding projects.
You will be a key player in implementing award-winning schemes in environmentally sensitive locations.
This is great chance to join an established team and offer technical advice to a diverse range of clients covering projects across all aspects of ecological consulting.
-Membership of CIEEM or equitant
-Degree level or equivalent academic qualification in Ecology
-Excellent management experience, having already developed your core field and reporting skills in consultancy role
-Specialist knowledge in a particular field of ecology (such as botanical survey or bats) and a class licence for one or more protected species
-Capable of complex report writing, inclusive but not limited to Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA) reports, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Shadow/Informative Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) documents, Species and Habitat Management Plans
-A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Specialist knowledge in a particular field of ecology (such as botanical survey or bats) and a class licence for one or more protected species are desirable. The company believes in investing in its employees and offers you add to your own portfolio of skills as there is funding should any staff member have a particular interest in a certain subject or wish to develop a particular skill, the directors are happy to support them.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Packed will include BUPA health car, 23 days holidays (plus bank holidays).
