Opportunity for an Environmental Site Technician/ Geotechnical Driller to join an established multi-disciplinary environmental consulting firm working on a number of projects across the UK but mainly in the South and the Midlands.
The ideal candidate will work from home attending various sites to complete projects.
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out Dynamic Window Sampling Drilling throughout the UK
• Specialising in geotechnical assessments and providing foundation recommendations
• Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything carried out
• Other works will be included such as BRE testing, site walkovers, trial pitting and other site-based works to support the site team
• General administrative tasks that support your core role, report building and presenting of information
• Customer liaison and supervision of site works
Requirements:
• Preferably CSCS or similar in site works.
• At least 2years’ experience in a similar role.
• Full driving license
• Experience driving a trailer or larger goods vehicle.
• Excavator license and experience. (not essential)
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Package includes access to a Company Van, expenses, overtime and bonus. All PPE & uniform provided,

This is a technical role requiring an expert in contaminated land reporting. As part of the role, the Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that site works, monitoring and reporting are delivered both technically and on time.
The role is crucial for the growth and success of the business. The company is seeing significant growth in the Contaminated Land strategy side of the business and this role is critical to ensuring best in class reporting and strategies are put in place for the customer.
Duties:
- Ensuring that site works are delivered correctly and within timescales
- Project management and reporting for Site Investigations, Remediation Strategies, Monitoring and Validation Reports
- Work hand in hand with the sales team ensuring they have the technical information for tenders and quotations
- Provide regular updates to Customers regarding their projects using BigChange and other technology
- Support and partake in specialised projects as requested
- Support the sales team on quotes
- Health and Safety is a key part of the role. Regular site and contractor audits will be carried out and preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Preparation of Construction Phase Health and Safety plans and compliance with CDM Regulations
- As a key member of the operations team this will be a hands-on role including duties such as site attendance, project management, site surveys, testing and report writing
Experience:
- Proven Communication skills
- High level of technical expertise in contaminated land
- Health & Safety knowledge and understanding within the industry
- Operations focused to deliver improved performance and customer experience
- Strong Relationship building skills
- Strong Administration experience
- Confident on the phone
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, SharePoint etc
Qualifications:
- BSc, MSc
- Chartership of relevant body – CIWEM, IEMA etc
- CEnv preferred
