Site Engineers required (at all levels) to join an established Surveying team working primarily in the Midlands on HS2 (no night shifts as the tracks will not have trains on).
Duties:
-Use modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, GNSS and data collectors.
-Setting out
-Establishing survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work
-Accurately and consistently record surveying information on site to the agreed specification and scope
-Process data from the field into the office, post processing with software, such as AutoCAD
-Checking the quality of information collected on site, and the successful transition to deliverables.
-Working with the Project Manager to assist with quoting for jobs
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and the position comes with generous overtime package including travelling time, 45-hour week, pension, health cover and company car.
This role would suit a Land Surveyor who has some setting out experience and is looking to progress their career down the Engineering route.
